Manh expressed his hope that the two governments would make more efforts to effectively implement the signed agreements.
Manh believed that Laos will continue to achieve more fruitful results in the development process and successfully hold the grand event to celebrate the 450th anniversary of Vientiane city.
On this occasion, Manh also sent his greeting to the General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and Laotian President Choummaly Sayasone.
For his part, PM Bouasone Bouphavanh praised Vietnam's successful role as chairman of the 17th ASEAN Summit and related summits.
Bouasone affirmed that the Lao Party, State and people will try their best to constantly develop the relations between the two countries.
Bouasone also expressed his condolence to the victims of the flood-hit central provinces of Vietnam.
