A Call from the Iraqi Masses to the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA):
We, the members of the Iraqi Football forum on the internet www.football-iraq.net in our name and in the name of all the Iraqi masses and the Iraqi people, present our request to the International Football Association to give its consent to the request of
to restoring the holding of the official matches of
inside
. All the great hopes and wishes of the Iraqi masses and the Iraqi people who adorn the football madly beg you to agree to our request this and that the official matches of our national team return to be held inside the Iraqi land similar to other teams of the world so that we the Iraqi people and the great Iraqi masses could go to the stadiums and to encourage the national team of their country with all love and vigour similar to what the masses and teams of the other countries of the world do.
We present this request to you and in particular to Mr. Platter esq. and we kindly request you and Mr. Platter to understand our position because our national team was deprived for a long time from playing on it is ground and between its supporters, which made it lose the advantages of two factors, the ground and the supporters which are very important without them the National Iraqi Team would have achieved better results than those achieved now and perhaps Iraq would have been among the teams qualified for the world its cup if it benefited from its legitimate right in playing its official matches on its ground among its supporters.
As you well know gentlemen that the history of the Iraqi football is distinguished and Iraq is a center of gravity in the Continent of Asia in football which inspite of the circumstances through which Iraq has passed, our team still achieved excellent results and gave excellent performance and our results in the Athens Olympics in 2004 and our qualifying to the world cup in 1986 are good examples for that.
We conclude our message this with a last word only hoping that you meet our request this which is the request of all Iraqis:
Please we want to play in Iraq
, please restore our international matches inside our ground.

اخواني الأعزاء قبل فترة رفع الأتحاد العراقي لكرة القدم طلبا الى الفيفا لأعادة المباريات الدولية الرسمية لمنتخباتنا الوطنية الى العراق لذلك حرص الجمهور الرياضي
على تقديم الدعم الأعلامي الكامل لهذا الواجب الوطني الكبير وايمانا منا بأحقيتنا الكاملة لخوض مبارياتنا الرسمية الدولية داخل ارض الوطن حالنا كحال باقي فرق العالم بعد ان كتب علينا ولعقود من الزمن ان ينحرم شعبنا من مؤازرة وتشجيع منتخبنا الوطني مثلما حرم منتخبنا على مر عقود من الزمن من عاملي الأرض والجمهور المؤثرين بشكل كبير جدا على نتائج اي فريق بالعالم لذلك الجماهير الرياضية ان تقدم الدعم الأعلامي الكامل بكل ما يملك من مؤثرات وامكانيات للطلب الرسمي الذي قدمة الأتحاد العراقي لكرة القدم وذلك لأجل عراقنا الحبيب ولأجل شعبنا وجمهورنا الرياضي وخدمة للكرة العراقية .
